You know you are in trouble when you post a picture that your wife took and then put your logo on it…and she notices.
A few years ago while we were vacationing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sara and I decided to take some pictures. She was still learning how to use the “big” camera and was trying to get interesting shots from different perspectives.
It had been a rainy couple of days, and she kept trying (and failing) at getting a great picture of a water droplet. After many attempts she eventually got this pretty cool shot of water flowing over the edge of a fountain.
I uploaded the picture to my computer and decided to post it, not thinking that when the picture posted it would automatically put MY logo in the corner. Needless to say she was irritated, not only because it took her so long to get her shot, but because she was actually very proud of her picture!
After getting ragged on for a few days, I decided to create a “Sara logo” that complements mine. I then reposted the picture with the correct logo giving Sara the credit for taking the picture.
I probably will never hear the end of me “taking credit for her picture”, but at least now I don’t have to worry about it anymore! Now when we go on photo shoots together we have t-shirts with our individual logos on them; we are proud geeks that way.
So Sara, sorry for “stealing your picture,” but thanks for always being there to be my backup!
