Joe Garcia – Put a face with the name

Joe Garica | jpegJoe | Downtown Amarillo

If you’re looking for a laid back, easy-going, professional photographer, then you’ve come to the right place. My goal is simple: to create beautiful images that capture the true beauty of the people and places I’m blessed to photograph.

My day job allows me to have some of the best gear in town, and photography is my “Professional Hobby.” It’s just what I love to do!

Staged studio shots, over-editing, upselling clients for every little thing, and crazy filters aren’t in my playbook. However, if you’d like to travel to unique locations, get creative, and gain a friend in the process, then I’m your guy!

Ready to work with a pro?

I’m looking forward to working with you and creating something amazing!

Every photo has a story:

Wilderado Volleyball Team

The Wilderado volleyball team had me come out and take this season’s team pictures this year. If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll know that the world of sports is near and dear to my heart. However, poster shots aren’t typically my thing. Usually, it is expected that team shots have some graphic design (think flames or lightning).

Testing the Canon R5 Focus and Sigma 105mm Art F1.4

I’ve been waiting for months for the release of the mirrorless Canon EOS R3 this November. Since I cannot speed up time, I picked up the R5 from my friends over at Armadillo Camera in Lubbock to placate my impatience. The last several weeks of testing the R5 with the Sigma 105mm Art f1.4 has been, in a word, incredible.
