Meet David. I’ve been photographing people for almost 20 years and have taken thousands of photographs. David’s request caught me entirely off guard.
I was getting ready for a senior session a few days after Christmas. It was cold and windy, so I was setting up my lights on a sidewalk while my client stayed warm in the car. Out of nowhere, this man asked me to take his photo.
“Sir, can you take my photo so that I can be remembered?” he said.
“Absolutely, brother,” I replied.
His name is David, and he’s one of the many homeless people living in Amarillo. I promised David I’d share his photo online.
