Senior Portrait Session: Shandlee

It’s always special when I get to do portrait sessions for long-time friends. It’s even more memorable when I get to capture pictures of their kids. I’ve known Shandlee’s parents for years.

So it was so cool to be able to travel down to Abilene to capture this girl’s senior portraits.

It can always be nerve racking when you are the only one taking pictures and you have all eyes on you. Even though she felt those nerves just a little bit, totally rocked this shoot.

Shandlee was apart of the Stamford softball team that won the state tournament last year. They’ll be looking to defend their state title again in a few days! We had to feature the ring she earned!

She was also on the Stamford team that faced off against the Gruver Lady Hounds for the State Basketball Championship earlier this year.

I normally shoot portraits in the Amarillo area, and wasn’t very familiar with good spots in Abilene. Either way, we found some awesome places to shoot at, and I am super happy with how her gallery turned out. Check it out below!
