I am thrilled to share some of Tylee’s senior portrait session with you guys.
This awesome gal and her mom drove four hours from my hometown in Stamford, TX to Amarillo for this shoot.
Wanting something a little different, Tylee requested that I pick out some unique backdrops for her portrait session. Being happy to oblige, I scoped out some of the newer murals in downtown Amarillo. After we snapped some quick pics there, we found this amazing, red staircase. The textures and the colors popped against her outfit, making it one of my unexpected favorite locations of the shoot.
Naturally, when you are in Amarillo, you don’t want to miss out on Cadillac Ranch! So as the sun began to lower, at the peak of golden hour, we snapped a few fun pics of the public art installation. Once the natural light disappeared, we hopped back over to the streets of downtown and took advantage of the signage and storefront lighting to end the session.
Tylee was great to work with. And I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to Tylee’s boyfriend for holding the flash during the shoot. Thanks Mason!!! Check out his cameo, and the rest of Tylee’s shoot in the gallery below!
